Project Details: Located in heart of NC's pottery hub, this unique solar farm is comprised of about one hundred 9.3KW solar systems. The ground-mounted system can be adjusted seasonally to optimize energy production of the system. Project: North Carolina Botanical Gardens
Project Size: 12 Kilowatts
Activation Date: Fall 2009
Project Details: Located on the southern side of UNC Chapel Hill's main campus, the North Carolina Botanical Gardens has received praise by Governor Bev Perdue for being a symbol of NC's Green Economy. GreenTech served as a solar consultant to the engineer of record for this beautiful system. The buildings are currently awaiting LEED platinum certification.
